Hey, I’m Kyle

I architect the web for the small-but-mighty.

Word of mouth might still be the best marketing, but today, that conversation always ends with a link. And if you don’t have one, there’s a good chance the conversation will stop there. No matter the size of your organization, you need a professional online presence and a search-optimized website today. And I don’t believe that limited budgets should limit the online footprint you can create. You have work to get done and help to give, and you need a well polished website to connect you to the people who need you. That’s where I can help.

Expertise you can build on.

Web solutions for small organizations come in all shapes and sizes and I have experience building many of them. There really isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to creating a memorable web experience around your business. Goals and needs differ based on your current situation, and the tech and the strategies you need will vary accordingly. I’ve built custom brochure websites, full-scale web applications, WordPress plugins, API integrations, and workflow automations to solve a variety of problems. I don’t limit myself to any specific technologies or frameworks… I let the business goals and your needs decide what tech I use.

The blueprints I build from.

In the beginning, the web and all the technology that surrounds it was supposed to make life easier. To make things quicker. And in a lot of ways it succeeded. But I can’t help but think it’s made life more complicated as well. We all have more online accounts than we can keep track of. Hackers are constantly after our data. User interfaces seem to fall short. Too many passwords to remember. Authentication is becoming more and more burdensome. *sigh*

With the rise of AI EVERYTHING (when’s the last time you went a day without hearing about Artificial Intelligence?) we find ourselves at a crossroads, where it could make everything better… or make everything worse. With AI, we can simplify the web to reduce security vulnerabilities. We can improve user experiences (UX) and create smarter interfaces that actually get the job done. We can let AI agents handle tasks for us so we can spend less time in front of screens and more time with fellow humans!

The differentiator will be in how people use AI. My philosophy is to never look at AI as something to do my work for me. It allows me to accelerate the development cycle and deliver better web solutions more quickly. And these efficiencies can then be passed on as savings to you. It can be my research assistant. My virtual “junior developer.” But at the end of the day, the work I produce will always be my work, and I will always take pride in it.

Proof that I’m not an AI.

People who know me may find this hard to believe, but I do get away from the computer sometimes! It’s true! In fact, it has actually been said by some that I might have too many hobbies. In my spare time when I’m not building websites, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, trying to grow a garden, and playing drums in a band (shameless plug here). I also enjoy building things in the real world by doing home renovations, repairs and woodworking.
